DESCRIPTION:

39 year old female presents with left breast atypical lobular hyperplasia and BRCA 2 gene carrier. She had left breast lumpectomy performed one year prior to her consultation with Dr. Goldberg thus the scar in the left breast. She decided on prophylactic bilateral mastectomy.

Patient was a candidate for 2 stages reconstruction:

Stage 1 – flap delayed elevation of bilateral breasts to improve blood supply to nipple and mastectomy skin

Stage 2- Bilateral nipple sparing mastectomy and immediate direct to implants reconstruction with Alloderm

Implants – Sientra round smooth silicone implants HSC+ size 475 cc high profile
