LIPOSCULPTURE

Liposculpturing is an effective way to remove unwanted fat from the abdomen, chest, and flanks. Dr. Goldberg uses a special liposuction technique called SmartLipo to remove the stubborn fat that diet and exercise can’t eliminate. SmartLipo, or laser assisted liposuction, is a technique that uses laser beams at 2 wavelengths, one to target the fat cell and the other to target the blood vessels and collagen, and the wavelength targets fat cells and literally melt the fat cells, a process also known as emulsification.

Using SmartLipo technique, Dr. Goldberg sculpts the abdomen, flanks, and chest to give you the chiseled look of six-pack abs and the pelvic lines. For the chest, the Smart Lipo technique could enhance pectoralis major muscle appearance by removing the stubborn fat around the chest to give you a defined chest. SMARTLIPO PROCEDURE IN DETAIL

SmarLipo Liposculpting could be performed under local anesthesia or general anesthesia depending on how many areas requiring liposculpturing. The incisions are small and the resulting scars are imperceptible. Most patients go back to work within 1 or 2 days after the procedure. You will refrain from vigorous workouts for 2 weeks.
