RESTYLANE®
Restylane® offers a versatile family of dermal fillers that, like all hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, can improve facial wrinkles and restore volume in multiple areas. HA injectables are useful in improving fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth and enhancing lip volume and shape.
Restylane® products offer a way to restore more youthful contours by adding fullness to your cheeks, midface, and back of the hands. These injectable fillers are also ideally suited for use under the eyes.
WHAT IS RECOVERY LIKE AFTER INJECTABLE FILLERS?
Recovery time is minimal after injectable fillers. However, you will want to avoid strenuous activities and wearing makeup for at least 24 hours. For lips, we recommend avoiding using straws, eating soups, etc., to maintain placement of the filler for 72 hours. Depending on the type of injectable filler you receive, you may experience bruising and swelling that can last for up to one week. Please avoid direct sun exposure while you are healing.
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT FROM INJECTABLE FILLERS?
After your treatment area is completely healed, you should notice a smoother, more youthful appearance. Depending on the type of injectable filler, results should last six months to a year. You may need to have your injectable filler treatment redone at a later time to maintain your results.
