DESCRIPTION:

BEFORE
This patient is a 65 year old female who came with left breast cancer, and underwent a lumpectomy, as seen in the scar on her left breast that is circled. She qualifies as a candidate for left breast mastectomy and immediate reconstruction with DIEP flap. The portion of her lower abdomen that is marked will be removed to create her left breast and contour her body.

AFTER
Patient has undergone her left breast mastectomy and immediate reconstruction with DIEP flap. She has also undergone fat grafting to the right breast to create symmetry. Her body is very contoured, with minimal scarring and her breasts look terrific.
