Procedure and recovery process
The Brazilian Butt lift is an outpatient procedure. It often lasts anywhere from 2 to 4 hours depending on the volume of the fat transfer. It is often performed under general anesthesia. Patient will wear compression garments continuously for the areas where the fat was removed for a duration of 2 weeks.
After surgery, patients are required to take antibiotics for one week. Pain is well controlled by oral pain medications.
